01 · Executive Summary

The headline: good bones, bad plumbing.

Cwallet.com publishes substantial content across four subdomains and twenty-six locales, but a cluster of foundational technical issues is suppressing how much of that content reaches users via organic search. The remediation is mechanical, not architectural — the site does not need a re-platform, it needs a clean-up sprint.

Overall technical SEO health
C+
Cwallet's organic surface is materially constrained by sitemap pollution, conflicting canonical/hreflang signals, and a partially client-side rendered homepage. None of these are exotic problems — every issue documented here has a known fix and a clear owner.
  • Sitemap is shipping 404s, draining crawl budget on URLs that don't exist.
  • Hreflang and canonical tags are giving Google contradictory instructions on which version of a page to rank.
  • The homepage and core navigation rely on JavaScript, so internal link discovery is weak.
  • Hundreds of indexable pages (including the homepage) are missing H1 tags, meta descriptions, or canonical tags.

03 · Remediation Roadmap

Three phases.

Sequenced for compounding impact: stop the bleed (crawl budget) first, restore signal clarity (canonicals + hreflang) second, round out the on-page polish last. Click a phase to see its actions.

F-01
Strip 404 URLs from XML sitemaps; remove their inlinks from web pages.
F-15
Fix the crypto_tipbox vs crypto-tipbox sitemap path mismatch.
F-16
Audit frontend link builders for unresolved ${url} and [object Object] placeholders.
F-18
Expand SSR / prerender coverage beyond the hero section.
F-19
Replace JS-only header navigation with crawlable <a href> links.
F-04
Remove hreflang annotations from canonicalized URLs; point hreflang only at canonical, indexable equivalents.
F-05
Decide whether /es-ES, /pt-PT, etc. canonicalize to generic locales — enforce consistently.
F-07
Add self-referencing canonical tags to every indexable page template across all three subdomains.
F-06
Audit non-self canonicals: keep where consolidation is intentional, redirect where not.
F-13
Add an H1 tag to the homepage and other high-priority templates.
F-12
Demote duplicate H1s to H2 / H3 in blog template and embedded modules.
F-09
Rewrite duplicate or English-only title tags on localized pages.
F-10
Write unique meta descriptions for top product, blog, Learn, and Docs pages.
F-11
Fill empty meta descriptions on docs.cwallet.com and key landing pages.
F-02 / F-17
Remove or replace broken external links and typo hostnames.
F-08
Decide pagination strategy for blog archives; align canonical + next/prev signals.
04 · Methodology & Scope

How we got here.

Crawl & validation stack
Full-site crawl via Screaming Frog (default user-agent + rendered HTML mode). XML sitemap inventory pulled from /sitemap.xml and child files. Each finding was independently re-validated against the live site between 2026-05-09 and 2026-05-13.
  • Status codes verified with curl / direct HTTP requests, not relying on cached crawl data.
  • Hreflang and canonical signals inspected in raw HTML, not rendered DOM, to match what Googlebot first sees.
  • Rendering checks performed in both raw-HTML and post-JS modes to isolate CSR-only content.
